The Power of Positive Aging
The Power of Positive Aging Mini Conference will be held 8:15 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 10, 2008 in the Richard Tam Alumni Center.
The conference is scheduled to begin with a continental breakfast and then conclude after lunch. There will be numerous break out sessions, with topics including senior theatre, leisure and aging, senior volunteerism, and more.
As part of the University Visitation Program for the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), we are pleased to announce that Lena Gorin will discuss trends in aging.
Continuing Education (CEU's)
This conference has been approved for 2.0 continuing education hours by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Cost is $25 per person, free for UNLV faculty, full-time students, and people aged 62 and older.
