
Jacqueline Ragin
Born and raised in Lusaka, Zambia, Jacqueline Ragin has a wonderful background
that she contributes to the study of aging. She attended boarding school in
Harare, Zimbabwe, holds a B.A. in psychology (economics minor), an M.S. in
mental health counseling and a masters of public health in environmental health.
Ragin recently moved to Las Vegas from Byron, Ga., where she worked at a
rural, four-year, historically black (HBCU) Fort Valley State University. Jacqui
also has extensive experience with mental health emergency room crisis assessments.
Jacqui will be applying her skills to a number of different areas in the Gerontology Program, including work on the new Professional Certificate in Aging, careers in aging, advising, conference planning, and graduate studies.
